2010.
The ideas for this works come from everyday life, humankind, relationships, films, imagination and reality, a fusion between parallel universes. As different materials give different emotional experiences, I enjoy combining everyday objects with traditional materials. In my work I want to create organic and industrial conceptions, abstract, delicate and powerful images, I gain satisfaction from collecting, transforming, recycling and modifying objects also. I want to use mass-produced elements, impermanent materials and to transform negative shapes into positive shapes.
I want my sculptures to be defined by the space inside and around them, as much as the strength of their shape. I want to set a deliberate visual engagement between the sculpture and the viewer, to make them amazed, all done with a bit sense of humour.
